Active Scam Targeting Avadian Members

VISHING SCAM_Blog (002)

Avadian members are experiencing a rise of fake “fraud alert” phone calls and text messages sent by scammers imitating Avadian employees.

Members are being asked for personal information including your address, credit or debit card number, CVV (security code on the back of a card), expiration date, PIN, Social Security Number, and one-time passcodes.

The scammer then uses this information to add the member’s card to a digital wallet and using the member’s cards to pay for their purchases.

It is important that you know that we will never call or text you and ask for your credit or debit card information like the number, CCV, PIN, and expiration dates.

It is also important that you carefully read texts that contain a one-time password. If the text indicates that the password should never be given to anyone, hang up and call Avadian directly at 1.888.AVADIAN (1.888.282.3426).
