Avadian Credit Union finalized the merger of EBSCO Federal Credit Union on February 1, 2018.
On November 16, 2017, Avadian Credit Union and EBSCO Federal FCU announced plans to merge. After being approved by each institution's Board of Directors and voted on by the EBSCO FCU membership base, Avadian assumed operation of the credit union on February 1, 2018; thus, expanding its existing market presence and membership.

The current EBSCO FCU branch location will continue to remain open as Avadian, solely for the use of employees at EBSCO Industries, Inc.
