We are always at work to protect your personal information, and we are always on the lookout for tidbits we can pass along that may help you protect your information in ways that we can’t.
One of those ways is Informed Delivery by the United States Postal Service.
When you sign up for Informed Delivery, you will receive emails that feature greyscale images of the address-side of your incoming letter-sized mail. That way, if you’re supposed to be receiving a new debit card in the mail, you’ll have a better idea when it’s coming. And perhaps more importantly, you’ll know if it hasn’t been delivered in a couple of days.
You can also check the delivery status of packages and when they should arrive, but that’s not all. You can leave delivery instructions for packages, reschedule deliveries, and manage notifications about the delivery status on your packages.
It’s free and easy. However, not all residential addresses are eligible. To learn if your address is eligible and to sign up, click here to visit the Informed Delivery page on the Postal Service’s website and follow the directions to get started.
