- High-Pressure Sales Pitch

- Suspiciously Low Prices
- Show Up at Your Door Unexpectedly

- Verify Licenses, Insurance, and Permits
- Get a Written Estimate – or Better Yet, Several
- Make Sure to Get a Contract
- Use Traceable Payments
- Avoid Upfront Payments
- Do Your Research
